Get in touch

Last updated October 15, 2026

This site belongs to Mitch Kline, a photographer in the Front Range, Colorado. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: I collect what you send me through the contact form and basic, anonymous visitor statistics. I don’t sell your information, and I don’t use it for advertising.

What you send me

When you use the inquiry form, I receive what you type: your name, email address, the kind of shoot, and the details you add (such as a date, venue, band, team, school, or city), plus which page you sent it from. It’s saved on the site so I don’t lose it, and emailed to me. You also get a short confirmation email.

I use it only to reply to you and, if we work together, to plan and deliver your shoot. Inquiries saved on this site are deleted automatically after two years. If we work together, I keep our emails as business records. You can ask me to delete yours at any time.

To block spam, the form briefly keeps a scrambled form of your IP address (deleted after 10 minutes). The raw IP address isn’t stored.

Visitor statistics

The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people look at. It records things like the pages you view, roughly where you are (city or region), your type of device and browser, and how you found the site. Google Analytics doesn’t store IP addresses. I use these numbers to improve the site, not to identify you, and they aren’t used for advertising. Google keeps the detailed visit data for 14 months; after that, only overall totals remain.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the site doesn’t load Google Analytics for you at all. You can also block it with Google’s opt-out add-on or your browser’s privacy settings.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets two cookies (names starting with _ga) to tell new visits from returning ones. The site sets no other cookies for visitors, and no advertising cookies.

Some show pages include music players from Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, YouTube, SoundCloud, or the Internet Archive. A player loads from that service, which may set its own cookies and see that you visited, under its own privacy policy. YouTube videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode.

Who else handles your information

Only the services that run the site, each for its job:

  • HostGator hosts the website and its database in the United States.
  • Brevo delivers the site’s emails (your inquiry to me, and your confirmation).
  • Google provides Google Analytics.
  • Music players on show pages come from the streaming service they belong to (see Cookies above).

I don’t sell or rent your information, or share it for advertising. I’d share it only if the law required it.

Photos of people

My work includes concerts, sports, and events, so people appear in photos on this site. If you’re in a photo and want it taken down, contact me and tell me which one; I’ll remove it. Portrait clients’ photos appear here only with their permission, and for anyone under 18, a parent’s permission.

Children

This site isn’t meant for children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect their information. Senior portrait inquiries come from students and their parents; if you’re under 18, please have a parent or guardian contact me.

Your choices

You can ask me what information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Use the contact form, and I’ll reply within 30 days.

Links to other sites

Links to other sites, such as Instagram, are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies.

Changes

If this policy changes, I’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
